1. About The Service

ArcticAI operates a platform for private document analysis powered by dedicated GPU instances running open-source AI models. Each user receives an isolated computing environment (referred to as a "vault" or "cold chamber") where documents are processed locally. Our orchestration layer manages vault provisioning, billing, and metadata — it does not access, inspect, or retain your document content.

2. Account Responsibilities

An account is required to use ArcticAI. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and must provide truthful information during registration. Accounts created for the purpose of abusing the platform are prohibited. ArcticAI reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ArcticAI exclusively for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Upload or process material that is illegal, harmful, or infringes on the rights of others
• Attempt unauthorized access to other users' vaults, data, or accounts
• Use the platform to build competing products or reverse engineer its systems
• Resell or redistribute platform access without prior written authorization
• Disrupt or interfere with the service or its underlying infrastructure
• Bypass security measures, rate limits, or access controls

4. Payment Terms

ArcticAI operates on a prepaid credit model. You load funds to your account using Visa or Mastercard, and GPU compute time is deducted from your balance during use. There are no subscriptions or automatic recurring charges.

GPU time is metered per minute at the hourly rate corresponding to your selected model tier. When your balance reaches zero, active vaults are automatically paused. We may adjust pricing with reasonable advance notice.

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of every document you upload and every output generated by AI models from your content. ArcticAI asserts no ownership rights over your materials.

The ArcticAI platform — including its design, code, branding, and documentation — is the property of ArcticAI and protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ARCTICAI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

ArcticAI's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the total amount you paid to ArcticAI during the 12 months prior to the claim.

AI-generated outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. You bear sole responsibility for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before relying on it. ArcticAI accepts no liability for decisions based on AI outputs.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of ArcticAI is additionally governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the platform, you acknowledge that document content is processed on your dedicated GPU instance and permanently erased when you destroy a vault.

8. Service Availability

ArcticAI endeavors to maintain high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows, updates, and unforeseen outages may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned downtime.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by destroying all active vaults and contacting us. ArcticAI may terminate or suspend your account for breach of these terms. Upon termination, any remaining prepaid credit may be refunded per our Refund Policy.

10. Modifications To Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the platform following changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of ArcticAI shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and where necessary, through courts of competent jurisdiction.
